Scarbee Pianet – sample library of the original electro-mechanical piano Hohner Model N Pianet.
The sound of this instrument resembles a vibrophone, a cross between the piercing A-200 and the soft Mark I.
Native Instruments Scarbee Clavinet / Pianet also has a universal effects section containing the classic effects of reverb, chorus, phaser, amp modeling, auto-wow distortion, pan, compression , delays and tremolo.
This is an electric piano that was used in funk, soul, reggae, disco and rock tracks during the period of its greatest popularity in the late 60s. The sound of this instrument is similar to an electric guitar, and is especially good in a sharp, vibrant manner of playing. The sharp timbre and percussive style of the performance made this instrument the number one choice for many funky recordings.
