Audio Damage introduced the second version of the powerful Axon drum machine. As a sequencer, Axon 2 uses an engine based on modified neural network technology by developers and therefore allows you to quickly and easily create unusual and moving rhythmic patterns. The percussion engine here is a 7-voice FM synthesizer with 2 operators for each of the voices.
In addition to the operators, each voice here is equipped with a high-pass filter, distortion and noise generators. At the same time, operators of individual voices can modulate any operators of any other voice, which as a result allows to achieve a wide palette of various percussion sounds. Also on board there is a full-fledged mixer, a built-in controlled delay effect with a two-dimensional XY panel, the ability to connect external MIDI controllers, including via Bluetooth and a separate MIDI output.
