Activation : Astra Linux is gradually introducing an activation system for Astra Group products. Activation refers to the process by which installed software is fully functional and begins to perform all functions in accordance with the software documentation and the scope of the purchased license. Currently, Astra Linux does not lose functionality unless activated. During the activation process, you will need to register the host on which Astra Linux is installed in the user’s personal account. Before replacing host components, you must deregister it; otherwise, the activation will be considered invalid. Starting with update 1.8.5, Astra Linux includes the astra-subscription command-line tool, which is designed to manage the activation of Astra Group software products, including Astra Linux.
