DC All In is the name for the next era of DC Comics. It is the successor of Dawn of DC,
following the end of the “Absolute Power” storyline. This publishing initiative focuses on
creating the best jumping-on points for existing, new, and lapsed readers. There will be
new comics, jumping-on points for the current series, and the genesis of a splintered-off
universe (Absolute Universe) that gives readers radical interpretations of classic characters.
DC All In is a major publishing initiative by DC Comics, launched in October 2024
under the direction of writers Scott Snyder and Joshua Williamson. It is not a reboot
, but an entry point for new readers, updating current series and creating
an alternate reality. Main Universe (DCU): Continuing current stories with new
creative teams and plots. Absolute Universe : A new reality
created as a result of Darkseid’s actions. Here, familiar heroes (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman)
are presented in a radically different environment: they have fewer resources and support,
forcing them to be harsher and more absolute versions of themselves.
DC KO (DC Knockout) is a large-scale event within the DC All In initiative.
It is an epic cosmic tournament of survival,
where 36 of DC’s greatest heroes and villains battle each other, Mortal Kombat-style.
The Justice League’s only chance to stop Darkseid is to win a deadly tournament.
The winner of the tournament will earn the title of Omega King and be imbued with Omega Energy,
enough to challenge Darkseid himself. The event
marks the first major crossover between the main and Ultimate DC Universes.
DC All In Act II , launching in March 2026, will be a direct continuation of the events of DC Comics: KO
and the larger-scale All In initiative. The second act will focus on the aftermath, including
the Reign of the Superboys story arc. Creative team updates and story developments in the main series are expected.
DC Next Level is a new publishing initiative from DC Comics, launching in March 2026 following the conclusion
of DC Comics: KO. This is not a reboot of the universe, but a major renewal with new comic book series
(Batwoman, Deathstroke, Lobo), focused on character development and new stories expanding the current canon.
DC Vertigo officially returns in early 2026 (expected in February) as a premium imprint
for original creator-owned works and dark stories, separating from DC Black Label. The relaunch includes new series,
reprints of classics, and a focus on horror, thriller, and science fiction, ushering in a new era for the brand.
