NK Productions AEQ-115 Hybrid Diffusion v1.3.1 is an analog equalizer plugin for Windows. Modeled after a real analog equalizer, every frequency step, saturation curve, and harmonic structure was captured and recreated.

Four Analog Modeling Modes

Choose a balance between CPU load and rendering quality, from simple traditional design to simulations that follow circuit dynamics. Two hybrid modes can be offloaded to the GPU, while the other two remain on the CPU.

Standard
A traditional design that replicates the static characteristics of the hardware without putting a heavy load on the CPU. It responds to the current level, so we know how the unit behaves at each level, but not how it changes over time.

Hybrid- and Hybrid+
A true hybrid analog modeling system. Instead of responding only to the current sound, it also takes into account the recent signal, meaning it reacts to how the circuit operated just a moment ago, something a static model cannot provide. The higher-end model takes longer to analyze the signal, improving noise reduction and sound clarity, but also increasing the load on the CPU. By optimizing digital signal processing, Hybrid+ can reduce the load on the CPU.

Professional
A different approach to modeling that requires maximum CPU utilization. Instead of looking back at a fixed signal segment, it remembers what just happened and uses that to construct the next moment, allowing it to remain as close to a unit of measurement as possible. This is why it runs on the CPU.
