Orange Tree Samples Evolution Texas Twang v1.3.5 is a KONTAKT library for Windows and Mac that captures the authentic sound of country guitar.
The guitar was performed and recorded by Chris Bullard, a seasoned session guitarist and aspiring country songwriter. Chris Bullard experience as a touring musician in Texas and Nashville gives the guitar samples an authentic sound.
The clarity and grace of his playing is evident in many of the parts included in the library, from picking to techniques particularly characteristic of country music, such as fingerpicking that mimics the playing of an acoustic guitar.
The library was developed in collaboration with William Derganz, who supervised the project and was also involved in editing guitar samples and creating factory presets. His attention to detail played an important role and set a high standard for quality for the entire library.
A set of samples was also passed through a distortion pedal to enhance the signal. Well-known among country guitarists, this distortion pedal emulates the legendary warm, distorted sound of the Trainwreck amp.
