To provide a unique take on familiar sound, we worked with a vibraphone player Alexander Gagatsis over the distillation of intimate velvet tones found in the softest of his vibraphone speaker.
To expand on the main instrumental patch to include “true tremolo” control, Alex performed arpeggios and fade-in, as well as an inverted stick technique.
Combined with the Contact engine that adds reverb and delay, it’s easy to create ethereal soundscapes or loop-like experiments and explore a whole new perspective on vibraphone sound.
