Reverb for an expanding universe. Designed from the ground up for immersive, Dolby Atmos and surround workflows, Blackhole® Immersive extends Eventide’s signature stereo sound throughout the immersive mix. Used as a send or fill, Blackhole Immersive remains respectful while still responding to carefully chosen track positioning.

  • Powerful and flexible reverb algorithm – create spaces from subtle ambiance to uncanny fades and drones.
  • Supports LCR, Quadraphonic, 5.0 – 5.1.4 and 7.0 – 7.1.4 channel layouts.
  • Easy-to-use user interface optimized for immersive workflow – same basic controls across all channel layouts, no menu diving required.
  • Transparent signal processing – the effect always sounds the same in all immersive formats and always preserves the integrity of the incoming spatial image.
  • Quickly adjust the levels of individual speakers using the built-in Levels section.
  • Kill Dry, Kill Wet and Freeze controls are designed to create drastic effects.
  • Mix Lock allows you to scroll through presets or settings while keeping the wet/dry ratio constant.
  • Changeable graphical interface with Undo/Redo and A/B comparison functions.
  • Extensive preset library includes more than 150 presets.
  • Added support for mono and stereo.
  • Added support for 7.0.6, 7.1.6, 9.0.4, 9.1.4, 9.0.6 and 9.1.6.
  • Added full support for upmixing for 5.0.2, 5.1.2, 5.0.4, 5.1.4, 7.0.4 and 7.1.4 (previously these layouts only supported mono and stereo upmixing).
  • New presets have been added, including artist presets from Scott Michael Smith.
  • Reduced overall CPU usage.
  • Fixed an issue in Nuendo where the Surround and Top channels were not routed correctly. • This is a session-breaking change and users using these formats should print their work before installing the update.
  • The user manual has been updated to reflect changes in supported formats.
  • Fixed an issue where the plugin would not work in all Pro Tools AudioSuite formats.
